FAQ's about the tapping therapy (EFT)...

What is EFT?

EFT was discovered by it's founder Gary Craig. He developed this simple and non-invasive procedure to help people deal with a powerful new method based on the discovery that emotional trauma contributes greatly to disease. Scientific studies have shown that EFT is able to rapidly reduce the emotional impact of memories and incidents that trigger emotional distress. Once the distress is reduced or removed, the body can often rebalance itself and accellerate healing.

Instead of taking months or years using conventional "talk therapy,"EFT often does the job for you cleanly and thoroughly in one or two sessions... and I sometimes achieve noticeable results in a few brief rounds of EFT.

Once you have seen how well EFT clears out emotional debris, your next step is to notice how physical ailments start to fade. Headaches, back pains and other discomforts often tend to improve or vanish as emotional issues improve (this is the essence of Mind Body Medicine). Your vision may become clearer and everyday stress may take less toll on your system.

But it is important to understand that even EFT is not perfect.

Wolf may currently be the only therapist in the City of London, offering EFT as a therapy. I don't always have a 100% success rate. But it usually works well and the results are sometimes spectacular. EFT can often achieve substantial relief with little or no pain. This is not true for everyone, however.

Some people's issues are so intense that the mere mention of them causes emotional or physical pain. But, given time, even these may be resolved efficiently with EFT tapping therapy.
If you have serious emotional or physical problems you are advised to consult your physician or licensed mental health practitioner, since EFT is not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment. You are encouraged you to share your experiences with EFT with your healthcare providers.

How long is an EFT session?

It is usually about one hour, either in person or over the phone/Skype.

What can EFT tapping therapy help with?

EFT is extremely flexible and has successfully been used on a huge array of issues, including:

Who does the tapping?

Usually I will instruct you to tap on the various meridian points all by yourself. This will enable you to learn the process for yourself and use it whenever you feel the need to do it. But on some occasions it may be necessary for me to do the tapping. This would of course only be done with your prior permission. To find out about the session fees, click here

Is it important on which side the tapping is done?

No this of no importance at all. It is more important to be comfortable with the procedure and results are not affected.

How can EFT be done over the phone?

The good news is that EFT is just as effective over the phone as it would be in the face-2-face session with a client. In a phone session I will instruct the client to tap on specific points during the session, whilst I will listen carefully to your voice tonality. This way I can assess how the process is progressing. EFT over the phone makes it easy for clients to set up sessions in the comfort of their own home and allows me to offer additional out-of-office session hours.

When I say phone, I do prefer to work on SKYPE as this way we can both see each other and I can monitor the progress even better, rather than just relying on the voice of the client. It also makes the session more personal.

Does an EFT session include hypnosis or hypnotherapy?

To help a client feel more relaxed I sometimes combine EFT with hypnotherapy as part of a session. Hypnosis very well aids the process of relaxation and therapy process. But this would only be in a face-to-face client session and not over Skype.

How can I learn more about EFT?

Gary Craig has devoted a great website to EFT, where you can learn more about EFT. Alternatively you can download a FREE EFT manual from the top right of this page.
